Requirements:
2 x 50g balls of Ornaghi Filati Praemium; 1x50g ball of Ornaghi Filati Capri; one pair No. 3½ needles.

Stitches:
Rib st:
*K1, p1, rep from * across.
Stocking stitch (St st):
*knit 1 row, purl 1 row*


Gauge:
20 sts and 25 rows to 10 cm in St st using size 3½ needles.

Back :
Cast on 84 stitches. Work in Rib stitch until piece measures 1 cm from beg, with RS facing for next row. Work even in St st. Work until piece measures 17 cm from beg. Shape armhole. Dec 1 sts at each edge of every other row 10 times. Work even until piece measures 23 cm, end with wrong side row. Shape neck. K to centre 24 sts and bind off, join a 2nd ball of yarn and k to end. Working with 2 balls of yarn, dec 1 st at each side of neck edge on every foll alternate row 12 times. Work in St st on remaining 8 sts at each side. Work even until piece measures 33 cm. Bind off all sts.

Front:
Cast on 84 stitches. Work in Rib stitch until piece measures 1 cm from beg, with RS facing for next row. Work even in St st. Work until piece measures 25 cm from beg. Shape armhole. Dec 1 st at each edge of every other row 10 times. Work even until piece measures 29 cm, end with wrong side row. Shape neck. K to centre 2 sts and bind off, join a 2nd ball of yarn and k to end. Working with 2 balls of yarn, dec 1 st at each side of neck edge on every foll row 6 times, 1 st at each side of neck edge on foll alternate row 11 times. Work in St st on remaining 8 sts at each side. Work even until piece measures 46 cm. Bind off all sts.

Manufacturing:
Join sides and shoulder straps. Pull one strand of Capri yarn trough the stitches at each side of front neck edge.
