8 x 50g balls of Ornaghi Filati Peluche white; one pair 6 mm needles; cable needle; a 4 mm crochet hook.

Stocking stitch (St st):
*knit 1 row, purl 1 row*
Rev. Stocking stitch (Rev St st):
*purl 1 row, knit 1 row*
Seed stitch:
Row 1: *k1, p 1*, k1
Row 2 and foll rows: k the p sts and p the k sts as they face you.
C2B:
sl 1 st onto cable needle and hold at back of work, k1, k st form cable needle
C2F:
sl 1 st onto cable needle and hold at front of work, k1, k sts form cable needle
Pattern stitch:
Row 1, 3: k12
Row 2 and all even rows: p12
Row 5: C6F (sl 3 sts onto cable needle and hold at front of work, k3, k sts form cable needle) twice.

Instructions
With size 5 mm needles cast on 123 sts. Work 14 rows in seed st. Proceed as foll: 10 sts in seed st, 103 sts foll graph, 10 sts in seed st. At the end of graph, work 14 rows in seed st. Cast off.

Flower
With 4 mm hook ch 4, join with sl st to form a ring. Rnd 1: work *2 ch, 3 tr joined tog, 1 sc in ring, rep from * 4 more times. Join with sl st. Fasten off.
