Requirements:
5 x 50g balls of Ornaghi Filati Liolà; one pair No. 6 needles; size 5 crochet hook.

Stitches:
Rib st:
*K3, p3, rep from * across.
Pattern st:
Row 1: *3 tr, 3 ch, miss 3 sts, rep from * across.
Row 2: *1 double crochet into each tr, 1 dc, 3 tr and 1 dc into next sp, rep from * across.

Gauge:
15 sts and 18 rows to 10 cm in Rib st using size 6 needles.

Back:
With size 6 needles cast on 63 sts. Work in Rib st. Decr 1 st at each end of next 8th row 3 times (=57 sts). Work straight until work measures 20 cm from beg (=36 r.). Incr 1 st at each end of next 8th row 3 times (=63 sts). Work straight until work measures 35 cm from beg (=63 r.). Shape armholes. Bind off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows, 1 st at each end of every 5 alternate rows (=49 sts). When work measures 55 cm from beg (=99 r.) bind off all sts.

Front:
With size 6 needles cast on 63 sts. Work in Rib st. Decr 1 st at each end of next 8th row 3 times (=57 sts). Work straight until work measures 20 cm from beg (=36 r.). Incr 1 st at each end of next 8th row 3 times (=63 sts). Work straight until work measures 35 cm from beg (=63 r.). Shape armholes. Bind off 2 sts at beg of next 2 rows, 1 st at each end of every 5 alternate rows (=49 sts). Work straight until work measures 47 cm from beg (=85 r.). Shape neck. K to centre 9 sts and bind off, join a 2nd ball of yarn and k to end. Working with 2 balls of yarn, dec 1 st at each side of neck edge on every foll alternate row 3 times. When work measures 55 cm from beg (=99 r.) bind off rem 17 sts for each shoulder.

Collar:
With size 6 needles cast on 78 sts. Work in Rib st. When work measures 18 cm from beg (=32 r.) hold on.

Manufacturing:
Join sides and shoulders seams. Sew collar around neck edge. With crochet hook work 2 rows in Patt st across collar edge.
