7 x 50g balls of Ornaghi Filati Oscar one pair 6 mm needles.

Stitches
Garter stitch (Gr st):
Knit all rows.
K2, p2 rib:
Row 1: *k2, p2*
Row 2 and foll rows: k the k sts and p the p sts as they face you
Stocking stitch (St st):
*knit 1 row, purl 1 row*

Instructions
With size 6 mm needles cast on 45 sts. Work 4 rows in Gr st, then work: 3 sts in Gr st, 39 sts in St st, 3 sts in Gr st. Work straight until piece measures 71 cm from Gr st (=99 r.). Shape neck. Cast off 6 sts at beg of next row once. Work straight until piece measures 100 cm from Gr st (=140 r.).Cast on 6 sts at neck edge of next row once (=45 sts). Work straight until piece measures 171 cm from Gr st (=240 r.). Work 4 rows in Gr st. Cast off.
off rem. 11 sts. Work left front reversing shapings.

To make up
With right side facing, using size 6 mm needles knit up 58 sts evenly around neck edge and work 30 rows in k2, p2 rib. Cast off.
