Requirements:
2 x 50g balls of Ornaghi Filati Menorca; one pair No. 4 needles; size 4 crochet hook.

Stocking stitch (St st):
*knit 1 row, purl 1 row*

Gauge:
17 sts and 20 rows to 10 cm in St st using size 4 needles.

Back :
With needles cast on 78 stitches. Work in St st. Dec 1 st at each end of every 4th row 6 times. Work even 10 rows then incr. 1 st at each end of every 6th row twice. Work even until piece measures 25 cm. Shape armhole. Bind off 5 sts at beg of next two rows. Shape sleeves. Cast on 19 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st at each end of every 8th rows once, 1 st at each end of every 6th rows once, 1 st at each end of every 4th row twice, 1 st at each end of every other row once. At the same time dec 1 st at each side of centre 60 sts every 4th row twice, every 6th row twice, every 4th row once. At the same time when piece measures 40 cm from beg shape neck. K to centre 26 sts and bind off, join a 2nd ball of yarn and k to end. Working with 2 balls of yarn, work even until piece measures 42 cm. Bind off all sts.

Front:
With needles cast on 78 stitches. Work in St st. Dec 1 st at each end of every 4th row 6 times. Work even 10 rows then incr. 1 st at each end of every 6th row twice. Work even until piece measures 25 cm. Shape armhole. Bind off 5 sts at beg of next two rows. Shape sleeves. Cast on 19 sts at beg of next 2 rows. Dec 1 st at each end of every 8th rows once, 1 st at each end of every 6th rows once, 1 st at each end of every 4th row twice, 1 st at each end of every other row once. At the same time dec 1 st at each side of centre 60 sts every 4th row twice, every 6th row twice, every 4th row once. At the same time when piece measures 31 cm from beg shape neck. K to centre 14 sts and bind off, join a 2nd ball of yarn and k to end. Working with 2 balls of yarn, dec 1 st at neck edge of every other row 6 times. Work even until piece measures 42 cm. Bind off all sts.

Manufacturing:
Join sides and shoulders. With crochet hook work a 150 cm long chain. Work a loop buttonhole at each side and pass chain trough them.
