BACK: with No. 4 rows start 59 stitches and knit them, for the border knit 4 rows in tubular stitch mode, 4 rows in 1/1 stitch mode (= 2 cm). Proceed in stocking-stitch mode with No. 4½ rows. At 20.5 cm from the border (= 41 rows) for the arm-holes knit the first and last 3 plain stitches in 1/ stitch mode, casting on 2 purl stitches (5 stitches are knitted this way in 1/1 stitch mode) and inside such stitches cast-off 2 stitches every 4 rows for a total of six times (= 39 stitches). At 30 cm from the border (= 61 rows) for the neckline interlace the 13 central stitches in a single way. Finish the two parts separately, casting-off outside the two stitches to the sides of the neckline 1 stitch every 2 rows for a total of four times. Continue in a plain mode on the 9 remaining stitches for each side, and knit them in 1/1 stitch mode. At 41 cm from the border (= 81 rows) interlace the remaining stitches in a single way.
RIGHT FRONT: with No. 4 rows start 29 stitches and knit them, for the border knit 4 rows in tubular stitch mode, 4 rows in 1/12 stitch mode (= 2 cm). Proceed with the No. 4½ rows and knit 5 stitches in 1/1 stitch mode, and 24 stitches in stocking-stitch mode. At 20.5 cm from the border (= 41 rows) for the arm-hole knit in 1/1 stitch mode the last 3 plain stitches, casting-on 2 purl stitches (5 stitches are knitted this way in 1/1 stitch mode) and inside such stitches cast-off 2 stitches every 4 rows for a total of six times. MANUFACTURING: Sew the shoulders and the sides. Knit a 180-cm lace and pass it between the front stitches, outside the side stitches to close the two fronts by crossing the lace, just as a shoelace is tightened up.
