Requirements:
150 grams in total of Ornaghi Filati yarn, 100 grams of Kind quality and
50 grams of Impero Stampato quality yarn; No. 3 ½ and 4 rows, a
wool needle with rounded tip.
Required stitches with the rows::
String: all rows should be plain.
Stocking-stitch:
*1 plain row, 1 purl row*

Sample:
10x10 cm stocking-stitch with Kind yarn and No. 4 rows = 16 stitches x
23 rows.
BACK: With No. 3½ rows and the Kind yarn start 75 stitches
and knit them for the border, string for 2 cm (= 6 rows) continue with
stocking-stitch with No. 4 rows. At 24 cm from the border (= 56 rows)
for the arm-holes cast-off 2 stitches every 2 rows five times (= 55 stitches)
inside the first and last 2 stitches. At 42 cm from the border (= 96 rows)
cut the shoulders on the bias, interlace on the sides, every 2 rows, 7
stitches, 6 stitches. Interlace the 29 remaining stitches in a single
way.
FRONT: With No. 3½ rows and the Kind yarn start 75 stitches
and knit them for the border, string for 2 cm (= 6 rows). Continue with
stocking-stitch using No. 4 rows. At 24 cm from the border (= 56 rows)
for the arm-holes cast-off 2 stitches every 2 rows five times (= 55 stitches)
inside the first and last 2 stitches. At 37 cm from the border (= 84 rows)
for the neckline interlace the 17 central stitches in a single way. Finish
the two parts separately interlacing again the sides of the neckline every
2 rows, 2 stitches, 1 stitch for a total of four times.
At 42 cm from the border (= 96 rows) to cut the shoulders on the bias,
interlace the sides, every 2 rows, 7 stitches, 6 stitches.
MANUFACTURING:
embroider the front using the Impero Stampato yarn, some stitches to stitch
point, following the picture or as desired, leaving about 10 cm of yarn
free for each embroidered extremity. Sew the right shoulder. Using the
Impero Stampato yarn and No. 3½ rows retake 74 stitches around
the neckline and knit 20 rows using the stocking-stitch. Interlace, sew
the left shoulder and the neck. With the Impero Stampato yarn and the
No. 3½ rows retake 70 stitches around each arm-hole and knit 4
rows using the stocking-stitch. Interlace. Sew the sides.
