Requirements:
2 x 50g balls of Ornaghi Filati Coriandoli; one pair No. 5 needles.

Stitches:
Rib st:
*K2, p2, rep from * across.
Stocking stitch (St st):
*knit 1 row, purl 1 row*
Open-work stitch:
Row 1: *K2tog, yo, k2, yo, sl 1, K1, psso, rep from * across.
Row 2: Purl.
These 2 rows form pattern.



Gauge:
11 sts and 18 rows to 10 cm in Rib st using size 5 needles.

Back and front:
To be knitted in one piece. Cast on 80 sts. Work in Rib stitch until piece measures 18 cm from beg, with RS facing for next row. Work even in St st. At the same time bind off, for back, 18 sts at beginning of next two rows, then decrease 1 sts at each end of every other row 9 times. At the same time when piece measures 19 cm from beg, end with wrong side row. Shape neck. K to centre, join a 2nd ball of yarn and k to end. Working with 2 balls of yarn, work 6 rows in open-work st on the 6 centre sts at each side and in St st on remaining sts, then work all sts in St st. At the same time dec 1 st at neck edge of every other row 9 times. Cont on remaining 4 sts each side. Work even until shoulder straps measure 19 cm. Bind off all sts.

Manufacturing:
Join centre back and shoulder straps.
