Materials
4 x 50g balls of Ornaghi Filati: 3 balls Chicco fuchsia, 1 ball Biberon mélange; one pair 3 1/2 mm needles.

Stitches
Stocking stitch (St st):
*knit 1 row, purl 1 row*
Garter stitch (Gr st): Knit all rows.

Gauge
22 sts and 30 rows to 10 cm in St st using size 3 1/2 mm needles.

Back
With size 3 1/2 mm needles and fuchsia cast on 38 sts. Work 4 rows in Garter st. Proceed as foll: Row 1: k1, yo, k17, yo, k2, yo, k17, yo, k1. Row 2: purl. Row 3: cont in St st, inc sts above previous inc on every second row 10 more times, then inc sts only at each side of 2 centre sts on every second row 36 times (=154 sts). At same time alternate colours as foll: 11 rows fuchsia, 2 rows mélange, 2 rows fuchsia, 2 rows mélange, 2 rows fuchsia, 2 rows mélange, 10 rows fuchsia, 2 rows mélange, 2 rows fuchsia, 2 rows mélange, 10 rows fuchsia, 2 rows mélange, 38 rows fuchsia, 2 rows mélange. Work 6 rows in Gr st with fuchsia. Cast off.
