Requirements:
2 x 50g balls of Ornaghi Filati Capri; one pair No. 5½ needles.

Stitches:
Stocking stitch (St st):
*knit 1 row, purl 1 row*
Pattern st:
Row 1: K1, *yo, sl 1, k1, psso, rep from * across, k1.
Row 2 and all even rows: Purl.
Row 3: K1, *sl1, k1, psso, yo, rep from across, k1.
These 4 rows form pattern.
ch, pass over the stitch passed over the worked stitch.

Gauge:
12 sts and 18 rows to 10 cm in St st using size 5½ needles.

Back:
Cast on 50 sts. Beg with a k row, work in St st until piece measures 26 cm from beg (46 r.). Bind off all sts.

Front :
Cast on 50 sts. Beg with a k row, work in St st. At same time inc. 1 st at each side of 10 central sts every other row and dec 1 st at each side of every other row to end. Work until piece measures 26 cm from beg. Shape armhole: Bind off 6 sts at beg of next two rows. At the same time K to centre 22 sts and bind off, join a 2nd ball of yarn and k to end. Working with 2 balls of yarn, work in pattern on remaining 8 sts each side. Work even until strap measures 23 cm. Bind off all sts.


Manufacturing:
Join sides and shoulder straps.
