10 X 10 cm in stocking-stitch with No. 5 rows = 11 stitches X 16 rows.
BACK: With No. 4½ rows start 50 stitches and knit them,
for the border, 3 cm (= 6 rows) in string mode. Proceed in stocking-stitch
with No. 5 rows. At 25 from the border (= 40 rows) for the arm-holes interlace
the sides, every 2 rows, 4 stitches, 2 stitches (= 38 stitches). At 45
cm from the border (= 72 rows) interlace the remaining stitches in a single
way.
RIGHT FRONT: With No. 4½ rows start 27 stitches and knit
them, for the border, 3 cm (= 6 rows) in a string way. Proceed with No.
5 rows knitting 4 stitches in a string mode, for the border, 23 stitches
in stocking-stitch. At the center of the buttoning border, make two button
holes, the first one at 20 cm from the border and the second one at 11
cm. At 25 cm from the border (= 40 rows) for the arm-hole interlace on
the left every 2 rows, 4 stitches, 2 stitches, 1 stitch (= 20 stitches).
At 39 cm from the border (= 62 rows) for the neckline interlace on the
right, every 2 rows, 4 stitches, 3 stitches, 2 stitches twice, 1 stitch.
At 45 cm from the border (= 72 rows) interlace the 8 remaining stitches
in a single way. Knit the left front in an opposite sense, without button
holes.
SLEEVES: With No. 4½ rows start 28 stitches and knit them,
for the border, 3 cm (= 6 rows) in string mode. Proceed in stocking-stitch
with No. 5 rows. Cast on to the sides 1 stitch every 10 rows four times
(= 36 stitches). At 40 cm from the border (= 64 rows) for the arm-hole
interlace to the sides 1 stitch every 2 rows seven times. At 49 cm from
the border (= 49 rows) interlace the 22 remaining stitches in a single
way.
MANUFACTURING: Sew the shoulders, with No. 4½ rows re-take
48 stitches around the neckline and knit, for the neck, 8 rows in a string
mode, following a button hole in accordance with the previous ones. Interlace.
Sew the sides. Close and attach the sleeves. Sew the buttons.
